Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Hang Dallas memberships ("Regular Hangs" and any future tiers) auto-renew until you cancel them. This policy explains how to cancel, what happens when you do, and what we will and won't refund.
How to cancel
You can cancel your membership any time. Two ways:
-
Self-serve. Log in to your Hang Dallas account, go to your subscription, and cancel from there. The links in your billing confirmation emails will also take you to your subscription management page.
-
Email us. If you'd rather send a note, email jorge@hangdallas.com and we'll process the cancellation for you within one business day.
No phone calls. No retention scripts. No "are you sure?" gauntlet.
When cancellation takes effect
Cancellation stops your next renewal. You keep your member access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
- Monthly members: access continues through the end of the current month, then ends.
- Annual members: access continues through the end of your annual term, then ends.
What we don't refund
We don't issue partial refunds for unused time on a billing period you've already paid for. If you're a monthly member and cancel on day 20 of a 30-day cycle, you keep access for the remaining 10 days, but those 10 days aren't refunded. If you're an annual member and cancel in month 7, you keep access through month 12 with no pro-rated refund.
If something has genuinely gone wrong (you were billed in error, you signed up by mistake, something on our end didn't deliver), email us. We'll make it right.
What you lose when access ends
When your access ends, you'll lose:
- Access to the private community channel
- Members-only event RSVPs and early ticketing
- Member pricing on workshops and 1:1 strategy sessions
- Your featured artist page on the Hang Dallas website (if you're an artist member)
- Discounts on the preferred vendors list
- Any other benefits tied to active membership
You won't lose:
- Any work you've sold through Hang Dallas (sales stay yours)
- Your direct relationships with other members or buyers
- Anything you've learned in our sessions (jokes aside, the knowledge is yours)
- Recordings, downloads, or other files we provided to you during your active membership, unless they're explicitly licensed for active members only
If we cancel your membership
In rare cases we may end a membership for cause, including but not limited to: failed payments after a reasonable retry period, conduct that violates our community guidelines, or any activity that puts other members or Hang Dallas at risk. If this happens, we'll let you know in writing. Where appropriate and at our discretion, we may issue a refund or credit for any meaningful unused time.
Rejoining
You can rejoin anytime. You'll rejoin at the rates available when you come back. If you were grandfathered into earlier pricing, that pricing may not be available on a rejoin.
Disputes
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at jorge@hangdallas.com before disputing with your card issuer. Most billing issues are timing misunderstandings that we can resolve in a few minutes — faster than a chargeback can.
Other purchases
This policy covers Hang Dallas membership subscriptions specifically. For one-time purchases such as event tickets, workshops, or 1:1 sessions, refund and cancellation terms are outlined at the time of purchase. See our Refund Policy for general purchase details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. We'll post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes apply to renewals after the change date. If a change would materially reduce the cancellation rights of current members, we'll provide reasonable notice before it takes effect.
