For Artists
Most artists are great at making the work and exhausted by everything else. The marketing, the pricing, the small talk with people who want to know "what it means," the constant low-grade panic about the algorithm. We get it. We are it.
Hang Dallas is what you'd build for yourself if you had time to build anything. We didn't have time either, so we built it for all of us.
Membership puts you in front of buyers, in a room with other artists figuring it out at the same time, and on the receiving end of the business support that should have come standard.
You need eyes on your work that aren't your mom's.
- A spot in our monthly pop-up shows, in front of an audience that came to buy
- A featured artist page on the Hang Dallas website with work for sale, 60/40 in your favor
- A spotlight slot in our artist lecture series (yes, you'll be the lecturer)
You need to stop guessing at the business side.
- Quarterly strategy sessions in small groups, capped at 15, 90 minutes, no fluff
- Topics that actually matter: pricing, finding your voice, email that doesn't feel gross, artist statements that aren't a chore to read, financials, identifying your collector, talking to buyers without sounding weird about it
- 1:1 sessions when you need to go deeper ($175 for 90 minutes, normally $300, because members get the friend rate)
You need an audience that doesn't vanish every time the algorithm changes its mind.
- Done-for-you social media setup and ongoing management (starting at $300 setup, $30 per month after)
- Scheduling tools and AI workflows that save you hours every week, so you can, you know, make art
- A real revenue stream from teaching: $150 per 2-hour workshop, in our space, in front of paying students
You need people who get it without you having to explain it.
- Members-only happy hour every month
- A quarterly gathering built around learning something useful and meeting people you'll actually keep in touch with
- A private community channel where you can ask the dumb questions and get real answers
- Early access to event tickets before the public sees them
- A preferred vendors list with member discounts where we've negotiated them
- Conference room access for client meetings, or for when your studio feels too quiet to do paperwork
